Srila Bhaktiratna Sadhu is a practicing Gaudiya Vaishnava from the past 30+ years. He appeared in 1971 in an Audicha Sahasra Gujarati brahmin family and has been a vegetarian and a Bhakti Yoga seeker from his very birth. He is a grand-disciple of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura Prabhupada and a shiksha-disciple of Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. That makes him one of the 38th-Generation Spirtual Masters in the unbroken chain of the Krishna Brahma Madhva Nitai Gauriya Sampradaya, one of the four bona-fide Vaishnava Sampradayas in Kaliyuga.

Bhaktiratna’s Gurus

He is a shiksha-disciple of Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. His Gaudiya Bhakti Yoga journey started by reading Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita translated by Srila Prabhupada in 1989. His diksha gurudeva is Srila Bhaktishastri Parampada Maharaja and sannyasa gurudeva is Srila Bhaktikumuda Sant Goswami. All are direct disciples of his parama gurudeva Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada. His Gaudiya Matha paramhansa sannyasa vesha guru is Srila Bhaktikusuma Shraman Goswami’s disciple Srila Nitya Krishna dasa, who received his own paramhansa sannyasa vesha in Gaudiya Matha from Srila Bhaktipramoda Puri Goswami. His two primary Shiksha Gurus among the previous Acharyas are the two primary Nitailila Acharyas: Srila Vrindavan das Thakur and Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur. His other more recent Shiksha Gurus are:

Bhaktiratna’s Practices

He practices long hours of daily निताइ👈 Vayulekhan, Harinam, and Nitai Shravan-Kirtan. His recommends everyone to hear or read the maha-audarya Nitai Lila at least 100 times from the most merciful scripture in creation - Sri Chaitanya Bhagavata, as per the instructions of his parama-gurudeva Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada.

He does not impart Diksha to new disciples easily (5-10 years waiting period). He is not interested in followers and considers Shiksha as more important than Diksha. He does not reinitiate disciples of other gurus.

He does not personally manage money, trusts, ashrams, projects, temples, deity worship, or farms. He does not engage in any kind of commercial ventures. Nor does he canvas for funds, judge others, or meet devotees alone in private.

He sleeps on a wooden bed and subsists only on milk, nuts, and fruit prasadam daily. And most of all he loves to record and imbue his sound vibrations with the deepest remembrances and the direct presence of the all-offense-forgiving and the most liberal Lordships in the whole creation: Shri Shri Jahnavi Vasudha Nitai, in order to induce Harinam-prema.
